We are pursuing the development of environmentally conscious additives that can be used in biomass coatings and inks.

ETAC Division
As a measure against global warming, and being the first in the industry, we abolished all use of the high-GWP (global warming potential) refrigerant, HFC404A, and completed the switch to the low-GWP refrigerant, R-448A.
Further, we are pursuing the manufacture and sale of the ultra-low-GWP refrigerant, R-469A, and its adoption in ETAC environmental test chambers.

Under the slogan of “What we Can Do for the Earth,” we are working on new technological innovation aimed at environmental protection.
- Chemicals Division
- We are developing an environmentally friendly biomass plastic that contains oyster shells.
- Additive Division

- BAL series of additives made from plant-based ingredients with high bio-base content and active components
- Wetting and dispersing agent, BAL-D Series: Uses a plant-based structure to control pigment aggregation.
Viscosity modifier, BAL-T Series: Adsorbs onto the surface of pigments and fillers, providing strong thickening and thixotropic effects.
- Dry powders containing cellulose nanofiber
- We are developing powders that contain cellulose nanofiber, a biomass material, which we anticipate will have applications in various fields.
- ETAC Division
- As a countermeasure to global warming, we were the first in the industry to switch to a low GWP refrigerant (R-448A) for our mainstay products.
Further, we have adopted R-469A, an alternative to R-23, for ultra-low temperature constant temperature (constant humidity) chambers.

- We handle various imported products that contribute to carbon neutrality.
